When a garage door won’t stay closed, the problem is almost always down to the safety sensors. We checked, and sure enough, the photo-eye lenses on either side of the garage door were out of alignment. Loosening and realigning the sensors is the solution to this problem, and we gave the opener a complete check-over in case there were other problems.
